Menomonie, WI - a city of about 15,000 people, is located one hour east of Minneapolis & St. Paul, MN. Menomonie is located on man-made Lake Menomin and the Red Cedar River, where its residents enjoy the recreational advantages of the great Wisconsin outdoors.
The area offers many lakes and rivers, miles of biking, skiing and snowmobiling trails, and hundreds of acres of beautiful woodlands.
EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES
Menomonie has two public high schools, Menomonie High and Lucas Charter School, and one private high school, Immanuel Charter School.
Menomonie is also home to three public elementary schools, Cedar Falls/Wakanda Elementary, River Heights Elementary, and Oaklawn Elementary, and one public middle school, Menomonie Middle.
There is one private elmentary school, St Joseph Grade School, and there are two combined middle and elementary private schools, St Paul's Lutheran School and Menomonie Alliance Christian School.
Menomonie also is the home of the University of Wisconsin - Stout campus.
The Greater Menomonie Area Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit business membership organization serving its 500 members and the Dunn County community. Its mission is to partner, network, and collaborate to promote and advocate for business, tourism, and quality of life in Dunn County.
